Important Guest Information

These guidelines help protect the cottages, farm animals, wildlife, hosts and other guests while maintaining the quiet atmosphere Suite Amour is known for.

General House Rules

• Self check-in is available with building staff or the cottage access system.
• The cottages are not suitable for children or infants.
• No smoking anywhere on the property.
• No pets.
• No parties, events or unregistered visitors.
• Only registered overnight guests may use the property and cottage amenities.

Inside the Cottages

• Please do not move furniture or remove it from its original location. Hardwood flooring scratches easily.
• No outdoor shoes inside the cottages or on furniture. Slippers may be provided during winter.
• Coolers must remain outside and use a secure locking system to prevent wildlife access.
• Cottage refrigerators are compact. Guests may wish to purchase groceries after seeing the available storage space.

Fire Safety, Fire Pits & Fireworks

• Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
• Smoking is prohibited throughout the property.
• Fire pits may only be used during the permitted summer season and must not be used during fire bans or unsuitable weather.
• Guests must bring already-cut firewood. Tools are not loaned for chopping wood.
• Never leave a fire unattended and fully extinguish it after use.

BBQ Use

Guests using the shared BBQ must clean it after use and replace the cover. Additional cleaning fees may apply when the BBQ is left dirty or uncovered.

Pets and Farm Animals

Pets cannot be accommodated for any reason. Ruby is protective of her property, and horses and wildlife also live on site. Guests should not enter animal areas or feed animals without Judy's permission and supervision.

Wildlife Awareness

Suite Amour is located in a rural setting where deer, birds, frogs and occasionally bears may be present. Never leave food or garbage accessible outdoors, maintain a safe distance from wildlife and follow any instructions provided by the host.

Septic System and Water Use

The property uses a septic system. Only toilet paper may be flushed. Guests are asked to use water responsibly and follow any cottage instructions about toilets, drains and water use.

Quiet Enjoyment

Please keep noise at a respectful level, especially during evening and early-morning hours. These rules allow everyone on the property to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
